Most consultants have studied growth. I've lived it - as CCO, as CEO, as the person accountable for the numbers, the team, and the outcome.

The background people don't expect.

My career has never followed a straight line - and that's exactly what makes me useful to the founders I work with.

I started in aviation. At Finnair I helped take the airline from 11th to 3rd in UK market share. At Manchester Airport I built the corporate sales function from scratch. I learned early that commercial growth isn't about clever slides - it's about understanding what customers actually need and removing every obstacle between them and a yes.

From there I moved through business development and consultancy across multiple sectors, before landing in tech.

At Northcoders I joined as CCO and helped drive the company through its most significant growth phase. Under my commercial leadership the business grew headcount by 283%, tripled revenue, and achieved a successful AIM listing in July 2021 at a market cap of £12.5m. That's not a stat I share to impress - it's the context for why I know what I'm talking about when I sit across the table from a founder.

After Northcoders I co-founded and led Basecamp as CEO - building the business from concept, securing £2.5m in contracts in year one, and reaching profitability within six months.

I've also lectured at Manchester Metropolitan University on the Chartered Management Degree programme - because I believe the gap between academic strategy and real commercial execution is one worth closing.

Why WildEdge?

In 2025 I founded WildEdge Consulting because I kept being asked the same question by founders and investors: “Do you know anyone who can actually come in and do this - not just advise on it?”

I realised I was that person.

WildEdge works with a small number of ambitious businesses at any one time. I work on a fractional basis - typically a few days a month per client - which means you get senior commercial leadership exactly when you need it, without the overhead of a full-time hire.

Since launching I've secured £400k in contracts for one client, delivered full commercial rebrands and growth strategies across multiple industries, and supported founders at some of the most pivotal moments in their company's journey.

I'm also a founder myself - running Silvia Health, a Manchester-based healthtech company working to close the gap in women's health data and diagnostics. It keeps me sharp, grounded, and genuinely invested in the challenges my clients face every day.
